Manila MRT & LRT
With in the metro manila, there are 2 rapid transit systems serving nearly 14 million resident, namely, Manila Metro Rail Transit System (MRT) and Manila Light Rail Transit System (LRTS). MRT consists of one line (North Avenue to Taft Avenue line) composed of 13 stations and LRTS consists of two lines, which are Roosevelt to Baclaran line (20 stations) and Santoran to Recto line (11 stations). Most stations under MRT and LRTS cover the main commercialized area, department store and tourist attractions in Metro Manila.

Bus
At present, there are 35 routes for city bus transportation, most of them operated by private companies, in Metro Manila. Moreover,
there is Express point-to-point buses (express buses, P2P buses) providing non-stop or limited stop travel along Metro Manila.
As of 2019, there are 52 points in the Greater Manila Area served by P2P buses.
For the inter-city and regional operation, provincial buses play an important role in reaching tourist destinations.
