Burnham Park offering interesting activities and attractions from kids to adults. Mines View Park, which located at the northeast side of Baguio City, is one of the most renowned tourist destinations in Baguio. Formerly, it was the copper and gold mining town of Benguet corporation. During the American colonial period, it was developed into an overlooking park and visited by thousands of tourists every day. With the observation deck, travelers will happily witness the magnificent sunrise and sunset over the stunning mountain Itogon. Numerous activities, apart from observation deck, for your itinerary such as sightseeing, horse riding, photographing, dressing in traditional costumes, and purchasing local souvenirs.

Many gardens are beautifully dedicated to relationship with other countries e.g., Japan, Chinese and South Korea garden. Most of them are worth visiting. Since Baguio is a melting pot of diverse indigenous Cordilleran culture, The Baguio Museum representing a true reminder of preserved culture, ancient related story with the richness in cultural and historical heritage. On the second floor of the museum, travelers can find a various tribal artifact from six indigenous tribes, miniature dioramas, and mummy in its coffin. While the third floor is exhibited the historical story of Baguio.

Strawberry wine and craft beer

The high altitude of Baguio providing a cool and mild climate for strawberries to grow fruitfully and become the main product of Baguio. It is great alternative to ordinary grape wines which providing a fruity and sweet flavor with lesser alcohol. Strawberry craft beer or lagud, is must-try liquor in Baguio, has a refreshing and mildly sweet taste that a lot of beer drinkers will surely love it.

Peanut brittle and Choco Flakes

Peanut Brittle is the mix of peanut chunks with sweet caramelized sugar which become hard and brittle. While the Choco flakes are cornflakes coated in chocolate. Both create the mouth-watering irresistible dessert for both locals and travelers. Nowadays, they become typical souvenirs that travelers continuously buying and they are easily found everywhere in Baguio.

Ube jam (Ube halaya Jam or purple yam jam) is a simply-the-best jam that you can enjoy as a dessert, pastry spread and baking ingredient. This creamy dessert is typically made from boiled and mashed purple yam, coconut milk, and sweetened condensed milk. The texture is like sweet potatoes, but purple yams are even sweeter and a bit more mellow.

By Air

Since distance between Manila to Baguio is approximately 250 kilometers, traveling by bus or car is the good option with lower fare price. So, we do not recommend to use Airline option.

By bus

At present, there are 3 major bus operators in this route, which are victory liner, Philippines Rabbit and Joy bus. Duration is around 5-6 hours from Manila to Baguio. It is recommended to travel with bus as price is cheaper than driving with own car or Taxi.

As the road infrastructure is well condition from Manila to Baguio, driving with own car is among the good choice. Duration of driving shall be around 3-3.5 hours for 250 kilometers distance.
